A CAFÉ IN A MID-CENTURY MODERN BUILDING
Retail Design. Interior Design. Layout. Art Direction.
Faborit is a chain of Coffee Shops & Fresh Eateries with over 20 locations in Madrid, Barcelona and Logroño. This one in particular is located in a very special building: Castellana 81, previously known as Torre BBVA, a legendary skyscraper in Madrid, designed by the architect Sáenz de Oiza in the late 60s and built in the late 70s.
This Faborit needed to fit in with the building's aesthetics, so I envisioned a mid-century modern-like atmosphere, that would still be aligned with the brand values and, of course, serve the purpose of fast service, easy traffic flow and comfortable experience.

BRAND VALUES / KEYWORDS
The vintage second-hand furniture in the low-seating area helps build the experience of being in stylish a mid-century building and adds a homey feel.
The lighting concept and the acoustic ceilings bring a more friendly and comfortable experience to the guests.

The bathroom was styled as a space of calmness, far away from the hustle of the rest of the café. Bold, dark, warm, surrounding colors and a very pleasant light.
